If she got r4ped and can’t have the baby she doesn’t have to keep it or if she doesn’t have a great place for the baby to be safe in. Another one is taxing the rich. If you tax them because they CAN afford it, it can go to good causes such as poverty. Last one is the NASTY orange! He’s a bad president and Biden is a much better candidate if you have any lore questions feel free to ask but I won’t argue on little things!

How did Anne Hutchinson, through her actions and words establish the ideas of freedom of thought, speech, and religion?

Answers

She conducted weekly meetings in her home to discuss the ministers’ sermons, sometimes gathering 60 to 80 people. Hutchinson spoke of a spirit-centered theology which held that God’s grace could be directly bestowed through faith. This went against the Puritan ministers’ orthodox view, which dictated that people must live according to the Bible’s precepts by performing deeds.

Whose kitten is that? I think I know.

Its owner is quite happy though.

Full of joy like a vivid rainbow,

I watch her laugh. I cry hello.

She gives her kitten a shake,

And laughs until her belly aches.

The only other sound's the break,

Of distant waves and birds awake.

The kittens is intelligent, menacing and deep,

But she has promises to keep,

After cake and lots of sleep.

Sweet dreams come to her cheap.

She rises from her gentle bed,

With thoughts of kittens in her head,

She eats her jam with lots of bread.

Ready for the day ahead.

1. How did the Grand Canal unite China's economy?

2. How were civil service exams used by China's government?

3. Why did Buddhism become popular in Tang China?

4. What was the Mandate of Heaven?

Please only answer if you know!! Please answer at least 2 out of 4!!

Answers

Answer:

Buddhism played a dominant role in Tang dynasty China, its influence evident in poetry and art of the period.

Explanation:

Answer to #3

1- Yangdi, Wendi's son, wanted to expand China's territory, rebuilt the Great Wall, and built the Grand Canal system which helped unite China's economy. It made farmers mad because they had to work on these projects and pay high taxes. The army took control and killed Yangdi and ended the Sui dynasty.

The canal was built in order to easily ship grain from the rich farmland in southern China to the capital city in Beijing. This also helped the emperors to feed the soldiers guarding the northern borders. The Ancient Chinese built early canals to help with transportation and commerce.

2- Chinese imperial examinations were a civil service examination system in Imperial China for selecting candidates for the state bureaucracy. The exams served to ensure a common knowledge of writing, the classics, and literary style among state officials. This common culture helped to unify the empire and the ideal of achievement by merit gave legitimacy to imperial rule. The examination system played a significant role in tempering the power of hereditary aristocracy, military authority, and the rise of a gentry class of scholar-bureaucrats.

3- Buddhism played a dominant role in Tang dynasty China, its influence evident in poetry and art of the period. Buddhist teachings spoke to the concerns of salvation and the release from suffering and flourished during the period of political disunity in China (220-581) after the fall of the Han dynasty.

4- The Mandate of Heaven is a Chinese political and religious teaching that was used in ancient and imperial China to justify the rule of the King or Emperor of China. According to this belief, Heaven embodies the natural order and the will of the just ruler of China, the "Son of Heaven" of the "Celestial Empire".

Please answer the following essay question:

How do you think the settlers’ desire for more land would affect relations with the Indians? Explain your answer.

Your answer should be at least 5-7 sentences in length.

Answers

Desire for more land would mean that these settlers would look at the current inhabitants as temporary, a nuisance to be cleansed. While not all people looked at them this way, this did help rationalize and justify the mass relocation of Native Americans to what is now the west United States. Desire for land also meant that settlers would have to familiarize themselves with America and take record of their surroundings, like plant and animal life and geography, which was an expensive, laborious, dangerous, and time consuming thing to do. For that reason, many settlers had relatively good relations with the Natives, as it gave them the advantage of not having to do all of the necessary research themselves. Of course this did later on lead to mass relocation and arguably mass genocide when the natives became inconvenient, but all in all it really depended on how the Natives reacted to the settlers in the particular area. Take Roanoke for example: an entire settlement vanished for some unknown reason, but it was most likely done by a local Native American tribe that did not appreciate foreigners invading their territory. Also, they are NATIVE AMERICANS, not INDIANS! Indians are from India, so to call Native Americans Indians is not only ignorant, but also incorrect. If you have any other questions, just ask. (I have nothing better to do anyways, I have the week off) Happy Thanksgiving!

How did Americans work to define their ideal political structure?

Answers

Answer: The AMERICAN DREAM. It's the belief that each American has the freedom to pursue a better life — a nice house, a car or two, and a more comfortable existence than our parents. This freedom has fueled incredible "RAGS TO RICHES" stories, such as Presidents starting out in log cabins and highly successful entrepreneurs who came to America as penniless immigrants — not to mention the guy that dropped out of Harvard to become the richest man in the world. These stories contribute to the American political culture.
