What was Sedition Act?

The Sedition Act, a piece of law intended to safeguard America's participation in World War I, is passed by the US Congress on May 16, 1918.

The Sedition Act was mostly planned by A, just like the Espionage Act from the previous year. Under President Woodrow Wilson, Mitchell Palmer served as attorney general of the United States.

The Espionage Act, which was enacted soon after the United States entered the war in early April 1917, made it illegal for anybody to disseminate information with the intent to obstruct the military operations of the United States or to aid the enemies of the country.

Hence, Opponents of the Sedition Act believed it violated the right to free speech. Therefore option B is correct.

I need a republican. Plz give me a reason on why your on your side

Answers

Answer:

im a republican

Explanation:

im on my side because I dont like the thought of people killing babys and I font want to be told what to do all the time. I'm a child of God and God told me whats wrong and what's right. simetime I make mistakes but I try to be good. and thats why I'm Republican. because I want to do whats right for this country. #makeAMERICAgreatAgian

I'm not a republican, (I haven't decided, I'm a bit too young) but a lot of different factors can determine party choice. While things might seem black and white, good and bad, it's a lot more complex. While the Democratic party is more community focused, believing that higher taxes for certain groups is necessary to support other parts of the community, Republicans are more focused on individual rights and don't want to have to pay taxes if people don't work for themselves. Republicans are also very focused of personal freedoms, with the idea that too many government restrictions hinder economic growth. A key topic the parties disagree on is immigration. While both parties welcome it, due to it's stimulating effects on the economy, they have very different ways of regulating it. Republicans, along with being focused on their freedoms, are also really concerned about safety. It is a simple fact that drugs come over the border from Central America. However, the immigration process is so broken, that they detain poor migrant workers as well as drug couriers. On the opposite end of the see-saw, Democrats are concerned more with the well-being of these migrants, and take the risk of putting Americans in danger. As for homophobia and racism, Republicans are more likely to be associated with these ideals. However, again, things aren't so black and white. Trump has been the very punchable face of the Republican party, and has shown examples of racism and homophobia, but in reality, many LGBTQ and people of color voted for the Republican party, to secure these individual freedoms. It's a lot more obvious that Democrats uphold these freedoms, as shown in many a protest. At the end of the day, it's easy to brand the Republican party as the Trump party, but until you do you do your research and find the reasonable and (gasp!) normal Republicans, (like Nikki Haley. She's cool) try not to jump to conclusions.

What is Heian era?

The final era of ancient Japanese history, known as the Heian period, lasted from 794 to 1185. It started after the Nara period, when Japan's 50th ruler, Emperor Kanmu, relocated to Kyoto from the country's capital. It is a time in Japanese history when the nation's culture evolved and Chinese influences were on the decline. The Heian period is regarded as the pinnacle of the Japanese imperial court and is renowned for its literature and poetry in particular. Two different styles of Japanese writing developed, including hiragana, a cursive alphabet with a particular writing style that is unique to Japan, and katakana, a phonetic script that was shortened.

What is shogunate era?

Mountains and seas brought the Greek city-states together. true or false

Answers

Answer:

[tex]True![/tex]

Also can you mark me brainliest if you want to? <3

Explanation:

Greek city-states likely developed because of the physical geography of the Mediterranean region. The landscape features rocky, mountainous land and many islands. These physical barriers caused population centers to be relatively isolated from each other. The sea was often the easiest way to move from place to place.

As a peninsula, the people of Greece took advantage of living by the sea. The mountains in Greece did not have fertile soil good for growing crops, like in Mesopotamia, but the mild climate allowed for some farming. The Greeks, like many other ancient civilizations, felt deeply connected to the land they lived on.
