write a summary about Fish for Jimmy
Use your own words
Answer:
jimmy got his fish and he was happy
Explanation:
Taro always went to swim with the fish. Jimmy wanted to be like Taro (not jealousy he was inspired). Their mother and father had left to look for a better life in California. One day, they had heard on the radio that Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. Taro and Jimmy wanted to know why they were so worried (because Hawaii was far away). The FBI came and told Jimmy's father that he couldn't stay because he was Japanese. Later, Japan and America had a war, and all the Japanese people were forced to leave. They were forced to live in small guarded homes at a camp, including Jimmy, Taro, and the mother. When Jimmy was there, he lost his appetite. Jimmy seemed to become sick. Taro took his mother's scissors and scarf and escaped. He ran until he found a mountain and a source of water. He asked the fish in the river to help his brother. He caught some fish for Jimmy and returned. Jimmy finally ate. Months later, father was released and joined the family.

According to Dr. James Peterman, "It is extremely

O According to Dr. James Peterman, "It is extremely
important to drink enough every single day (water]."
Answer:
According to Dr. James Peterman, "It is extremely important to drink enough [water] every single day."
Explanation:
The third option should contain brackets instead of parentheses.
Parentheses are punctuational marks we use to introduce an additional thought about a statement. Unlike them, brackets are used to introduce information of a technical nature or information added by the editor. Words in brackets are added to clarify the rest of the sentence but can be omitted without affecting its meaning.
This is the case in the given sentence. The writer wanted to clarify that Dr. James Peterman is talking about water and not something else, like alcohol.
This is why the third option is the correct one.

contrast Romeo’s impulsiveness with Juliet’s calm.
Answer:
Shakespeare uses the structure of these lines to demonstrate the playful affection of a new relationship.
Explanation:
William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Ju liet," tells the love story of Romeo and Ju liet, two young lovers, despite their feuding families' history. The love between the two became one of the most referred and symbol of everlasting and loyal love.
In the given excerpt from the play, Romeo and Ju liet are in the early phase of their romance. The conversation between the two shows the playful affection of an early and new relationship, with Romeo playfully asking to be given his "sin" back, thereby ensuring he gets a kiss back. This playful banter between the two lovebirds shows the 'romantic and powerful yet fun' part of the early relationship.
Thus, the correct answer is the second option.
Answer:
B..
Explanation:
Read the excerpt from a short story. The beach teemed with tourists from boardwalk to shore. A canopy of colorful umbrellas covered the sand. Each was preoccupied with his own happy task, and none noticed the figure as it emerged from the surf. Its skin was blistered and raw, and it lumbered awkwardly in the foam. Its hideous eyes hungrily appraised the masses. How does the excerpt exemplify the ideas king describes in danse macabre?.
Answer:
It provides a "single powerful spectacle" for the imagination's eye.
Explanation:
King describes it almost as if a camera is floating around showing each thing that seems natural until he shows what is not. It is a way to create a good imagery for the reader and make it a spectacle with a shocking twist on a paragraph that starts with tourists at the shore and ends with hideous eyes.

My first memory of school is a huge building where kids around my size were packed together. Some children were running around and crying while I stood still. My mom was holding my hand and my dad was also standing around. Then I heard a strange noise which I later learned was the bell. We were all taken inside the classroom. My parents sat me down at a desk and said their goodbyes. I think they were hoping I wouldn't cry like some other kids. I did cry but only after they went in secret. I quickly wiped my eyes when the teacher came in. The next two years of my life were hell. She hated me and I despised her. I was a shy child and she a demanding person. She wanted me to speak more while I stayed in my own space. Gradually I did change, I made new friends and started talking a lot more.
Later on I discovered my love for singing and found I was quite good at it. I began taking part in local competitions and then I found it. The opportunity I had been looking for. There was a competition taking place which had three steps. One would be in my local area, the next part in another county and the final part in another country, UK. My friends and I decided to sing in a group and we won the first two parts. It was finally the day of the final part of the competition. We were all very excited. We sang. At the end when the judges called out the results we were sad because we heard that the third and second prize went to someone else. Then we heard it. Our names. We won! Adrenaline rushed throughout my body. As we went on stage to receive our trophies I was so shocked I couldn't even think. I never expected to win first prize in the final part as well as the first two parts. This incident really changed the way I thought about myself and the way my life was going changed a lot after this one incident.
My granny was always a huge part of my life. I knew that she had some type of cancer. She had this from when I was quite small. Everything was so sudden. I felt as if a part of me went with her. I smiled in front of everyone when I was completely shattered inside. I couldn't cry in front of them because I felt that if I cried everyone else might start crying. Every few minutes I would sneak away to be alone and let my tears roll down my cheeks. A few months after this was my birthday. It was on that day I realised how much of an effect this had on me. I was usually not very excited on my birthdays but this year I felt as if I didn't even want to face anyone. My mom always said that it was my granny who took care of me from the day she found out about me. I had never realised how important she was in my life until then.
