This network incorporates a range of satellites that use microwave signals that are transmitted to GPS devices to give information on location” Knowing all of this can help you figure out where your phone is if you lost it.

If you are ever in danger and call the police, they can use your GPS to find your location if you are ever unable to locate where you are. This can save many lives. GPS is also important to “figure out where you are needing to go” when it comes to vehicular travel. Many cars nowadays even have screens in them so you can connect your phones GPS to it, further highlighting the importance of the GPS.

However with the GPS, its not all sunshine and rainbows. Yes it can help you get out of an emergency, but it can be the thing that causes it in the first place.
